MLT Bottom Plates

Description

Overview

MLT Bottom Plates are the base components used with straps and caps in the Mechanical Lippage Tuning system. Choose the Slab or Plank/Offset style to suit the tile layout; this listing is for bottom plates, not a complete leveling system.

What's Included

  • 250 bottom plates in the selected style.
  • Straps are not included.

Specifications

  • System: MLT Mechanical Lippage Tuning
  • Package quantity: 250 bottom plates
  • Selectable style: Slab; Plank/Offset
  • Selectable quantity: 250

Applications

Use the plates as part of the MLT system when aligning adjacent tiles during setting. Match the plate style to the layout and use the corresponding MLT straps and caps.

Slab or Plank/Offset

The selector separates Slab plates from Plank/Offset plates. Confirm the plate’s specified tile-thickness and joint requirements for your installation before ordering; the two styles should not be treated as one universal plate.

    MLT System

I am an experienced amateur tile guy. I bought a small starter system of 250 caps/straps, 1500 porcelain plates and the gun. The MLT system helped me install 440 sqft of 6x24 plank with virtually no lippage. Its expensive upfront but I hope to use it a few times and then recover some of the investment by selling the reusable caps/straps. Stone and Tile were extremely prompt. The order shipped within a day arrived at my condo a few days later. Sooner than expected. Thanks
