Overview
The Metabo PE 15-20 RT is a 7-inch variable-speed angle polisher for fine finishing and high-gloss polishing of painted surfaces. Its 1,500-watt motor and high-torque planetary gearing work through a low 300–1,900 RPM range suited to controlled polishing.

Applications
Use for controlled finish-polishing of painted surfaces with an appropriate pad and polishing product. The linked manual distinguishes this model from the PE 15-30; do not transfer the latter’s stone-polishing or sanding recommendations to the PE 15-20 RT.
Selection and Use
- Order the backing pad and buffing wheel separately; neither is included.
- Match the pad to the 7-inch maximum size, 5/8-11 spindle and intended polishing speed.
- Preselect the speed, then use the trigger for a controlled start.
- Monitor surface heat during polishing and follow the manual’s bonnet-attachment and handling instructions.
