Overview
The Metabo WEV 17-125 Quick Inox is a 5-inch variable-speed grinder designed for stainless-steel work. Its high gear reduction and 2,000–7,600 RPM range provide high torque at lower operating speeds for controlled grinding and metal finishing.

Applications
Use for stainless-steel grinding and finishing, weld blending, deburring, edge finishing and appropriate metal-fabrication or maintenance work. Select accessories intended for the material and finish, with the correct guard for the operation.
Selection and Use
- The lower-speed Inox configuration is a specific feature of this model; do not substitute speed figures from another WEV 17-125 version.
- Match the wheel and attachment to the spindle, size and speed requirements.
- Use the variable-speed range to suit the abrasive and finish; avoid treating low speed as permission to fit an otherwise unsuitable accessory.
- Use the side handle and follow the tool’s operating instructions for mounting, dust control and protective equipment.
