Applications
Choose the NT671 for spreading tile-setting mortar or adhesive when the installation calls for a 1/4 in. wide × 1/4 in. deep square notch. The notch geometry is the key selection detail; the blade footprint alone does not determine suitability for a tile or flooring material.
Selection and Use
- Confirm all three dimensions against the setting-material instructions: 1/4 in. width, 1/4 in. depth and 1/4 in. spacing.
- For tile work, check the required mortar coverage during installation rather than treating the notch depth as the finished bed thickness.
