Overview
LATICRETE 15 Premium Mastic is a ready-to-use, white latex adhesive for small-format ceramic tile and suitable natural stone on interior walls and floors. Its creamy, high-tack consistency makes it useful for dry-area wall work without mixing a cement mortar. Choose the pail size to suit the job; tile size and moisture exposure are important selection limits.

Applications
Use for dry, interior tile installations over suitable concrete, cement plaster, brick or concrete masonry, cement block, masonry walls, mortar beds, cement backer board, gypsum wallboard or gypsum plaster. Exterior-glue plywood is a floor substrate onlyānot approval for exterior use.
Plan Your Installation
- Check tile dimensions first: maximum wall tile size is 10 x 10 in.; maximum floor tile size is 6 x 6 in. Do not use with impervious porcelain larger than 2 x 2 in.
- Match the trowel to the tile and substrate. The coverage figures are estimates, not a guaranteed yield.
- Test natural stone for discoloration. Do not use for water-sensitive stone or green marble.
- Do not use over waterproofing membranes, wallpaper, particleboard, OSB, luan or other prohibited wood substrates.
Common Planning Questions
Is water-resistant mastic suitable for a shower?
No. LATICRETE limits mastic to non-wet interior areas. Do not select it for shower stalls or floors, steam rooms, pools, or areas regularly exposed to moisture.
When can I grout?
Allow at least 24 hours of curing at 70Ā°F (21Ā°C); cooler conditions require longer. Follow the product data sheet for the complete installation requirements.
