Overview
Desmond Huntington grinding-wheel dressers use rotating star cutters and spacers to clean and re-true a grinding wheel’s working surface. The heat-treated high-carbon steel cutters are intended for general dressing where rapid dressing is the priority.

Applications
Choose a Huntington dresser for routine cleaning and truing of compatible medium or coarse grinding wheels. Select the dresser size from the wheel-diameter ranges, not from the replacement cutter’s outside diameter.
Selection and Use
- Check both the wheel diameter and dresser face required for the job.
- Dressing can restore the working surface, but does not make a damaged wheel safe to use. Follow the wheel and dresser instructions.
- Use the dresser number when selecting replacement cutters later.
