Usage Instructions (Summary):
- Allow newly grouted installations to cure a minimum of 10 days.
- Sweep, vacuum, or wipe surface, then prewet with water.
- Mix Ratios:
- Light to normal cleaning: 1/2 cup (150 g) per gallon of water
- Heavy-duty cleaning: 3/4 cup (225 g) per gallon of water
- Apply solution with mop or sponge, allowing 1–2 minutes dwell time.
- Agitate with a white nylon scrub pad or brush; do not allow solution to dry.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water, agitating to remove all acid residues. Repeat rinse to ensure complete removal.
Limitations:
- Avoid contact with non-recommended surfaces.
- Do not mix with other cleaners.
- Not recommended for highly porous tiles such as Saltillo.
- Acids may etch, lighten, or alter the color of cementitious materials, metallic glazes, or some natural stones (marble, limestone, travertine, some basalts).
Coverage:
- Approximately 300 to 500 sq. ft. per 1 LB, depending on dilution.
