Overview

Alpha Silencer III for Marble is a specialty blade for marble fabrication on bridge or table saws. Its laminated silent core uses two hardened-steel sheets and a thin copper layer to reduce the noise associated with slab cutting.

Applications

Choose this version for marble work rather than the hard-granite or quartzite bonds in the Silencer III family. Select the diameter for the saw and check the corresponding thickness and maximum RPM.

Selection and Use

• The 16-inch SLW16S2M and 18-inch SLW18S2M have different thickness and speed limits; do not use one model’s figures for both.
• The 50 mm adapter supports the corresponding smaller arbor setup, not every spindle size.
• Alpha offers re-tipping for lost segments when the blade core is undamaged and safe to reuse. This is a segment-loss service, not routine sharpening or a promise to replace a worn-out blade.
