Alpha SFAT-5/8 is a 5-inch snail-lock adapter with a 5/8-inch-11 tool connection. It provides the mounting interface for compatible snail-lock wheels, allowing quick changes between finishing stages.

Applications
Use this adapter with a compatible 5-inch snail-lock polishing or texturing setup, such as the Twincur EB family. Match wheel diameter and attachment as well as the tool thread.
Selection and Use
- A shared family name does not make every 4- or 5-inch wheel interchangeable with this adapter.
- PVA QC uses the separately identified 4-inch PVA-5/8 backer; do not assume this 5-inch adapter is its substitute.
- Check the wheel’s speed limit along with the adapter’s 2,000 RPM maximum before use.
