Description
Overview
The Albion R5 Viper Line is a manual ratchet-rod gun for standard 1/10-gallon cartridges. Its 5:1 drive makes it a basic dispensing option for appropriate caulks and sealing materials.
Features
- Ratchet drive with 5:1 mechanical advantage.
- Lightweight handheld design for straightforward caulking tasks.
Specifications
- Model: R5
- Cartridge capacity: 1/10 gallon
- Drive: Manual ratchet, 5:1
- Line: Viper
Applications
Use for suitable general caulking and sealing work in repair, home-improvement and construction projects. Select it for the cartridge and material being applied, not simply because another gun accepts the same cartridge size.
Selection and Use
- The 5:1 ratio describes mechanical advantage, not an adhesive mixing ratio.
- Compare material dispensing requirements before choosing a basic ratchet gun for a thick adhesive.
